The upper age limit for Assam Direct Recruitment 2023-24 is as follows

Assam Grade 3 & 4 Recruitment Educational Qualification
- Class III Category I: Bachelor’s Degree (OR) Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Certificate / 06 months Diploma certificate.
- Class III Category II: HSSLC (10+2) or equivalent examination passed (OR) HSSLC (Science) examination passed.
- Class III Category III: HSLC (Matriculation) Pass or equivalent examination Passed + Valid LMV Driving license.
- Class IV (10th Pass): HSLC (Matriculation) or equivalent examination passed.
- Class IV (10th Pass with ITI): HSLC (Class 10) or equivalent examination passed along with ITI Pass certificate in the trade of Wireman / Electrician / Fitter / Welder / Machinist / Electronics Mechanic.

Assam Direct Recruitment 2023 Selection Process
- The Selection Criteria and the mode of examination for the different categories of posts shall be communicated in due course of time.
- There shall be two parts of the selection process – a written test and an Interview for Grade 4
- However, after the written examination, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a skill test viz. Computer/Stenography/Driving Skill tests etc.
- The shortlisted candidates will have to bring all the original testimonials i.e. Age proof Certificate, Caste Certificate (in case of reserved category candidates), Educational Qualification Certificates, Computer Proficiency Certificate (as applicable), Disability Certificate (in case of PwBD candidates), and Declaration in Form-*A” under Rule 5(1) of the Assam Public Services (Application of Small Family Norms in Direct Recruitment).

How to Apply for Assam Direct Recruitment 2023
- Eligible candidates are required to submit an online application form only through SLRC Assam Recruitment Portal (staterecruit.in) from November 10, 2023.
- Candidates are required to fill in all required details and upload scanned copy of required documents (Recent Passport Size Photograph, Signature, etc.)
- Each candidate is allowed to submit only one application.
- The last date for registering online applications is 29/12/2023 (Friday) up to Midnight.
- Once the online application is submitted, there will be no opportunity for editing, correction, or re-submission.
- After completing the online application form, candidates will receive a unique registration number, which will be used for all future references.
