Responsibilities: Microsoft Internship Opportunity
As a security engineer, you are dedicated to protecting the company and customers by analyzing the signals and alerts from various sources.
- Conduct initial analysis, assessing severity and depth of security incidents.
- Take measures to contain, mitigate and remediate incidents.
- Conduct RCA (root cause analysis) to help finetune detection and mitigation measures.
- Identify opportunities to automate tasks to achieve efficiency in SOC operations.
- Develop playbooks for new monitoring use cases.
Requirements: Microsoft Internship Opportunity
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field
- Strong understanding of security concepts, such as networking, operating systems, and security tools
- Experience with scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as Azure or AWS
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
